Project: During Russian occupation of Kars (1879-1918) a new town in a grid iron plan was created neighbouring Ottoman city. Many buildings with unique masonry architecture, typical of the period, were either demolished or abandoned in time.

Kars Municipality decided to convert one of the buildings from the period to a community centre run by women. A two story high house was adapted to the new function and restored to original features. Proposal includes reversible custom made details for the utility spaces, i.e., showers, toilets.

Services rendered: Survey, documenting, measured drawings, preliminary design, working drawings, design of shower, toilet and kitchen cabins.
